The onboarding process helps us customize your CrEATe experience based on your specific program needs.
After creating your account, you'll be guided through a quick setup wizard. This information helps us show you the right tools and validate your menus correctly.

Step 1: Organization Details
Tell us about your organization:
- Organization Name: Your center, school, or program name
- Organization Type: Day care center, school, family day care, etc.
- State: This determines your specific state requirements
Step 2: Program Information
Select your meal program(s):
- CACFP: Child and Adult Care Food Program (year-round)
- SFSP: Summer Food Service Program (seasonal)
You can participate in both programs if applicable.
Note
Each program has different meal pattern requirements. CrEATe automatically validates your menus based on the program(s) you select.
Step 3: Site & Age Groups
Configure your site settings:
- Age Groups Served: Select all age groups at your site (infants, toddlers, preschool, school-age, adults)
- Meal Types: Choose which meals you serve (breakfast, lunch, supper, snacks)
- Kitchen Equipment: Help us suggest appropriate recipes
You Can Update Later
Pro Tip
Don't worry about getting everything perfect during onboarding. You can update all of these settings anytime from Dashboard → Settings.
