1 Purpose of the Site

CreateMeals.org provides resources, tools, and information for organizations involved in nutrition programs such as the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). Some features are available at no cost, while others require a paid subscription. We do not sell food products or guarantee program compliance outcomes. All content is for informational and educational purposes only.

2 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use member features. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. CreateMeals.org is currently available only to users in the United States. We use IP-based geolocation to enforce geographic availability, and users outside the United States may be unable to access the platform.

3 Member Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create a member account. By creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• Not share your account credentials with others

We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms or appear to misuse the site. Enforcement actions are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may include temporary suspension, feature restriction, or permanent account removal.

4 Subscriptions and Billing

CrEATe Meals offers a free tier and multiple paid subscription plans (Starter, Essentials, Pro, and Enterprise).

Billing

• Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis, at your choice
• All payments are processed by Stripe. Your payment information is collected directly by Stripe and never touches our servers
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel
• Plan changes (upgrades and downgrades) are handled through Stripe and may be prorated. Details are displayed at the time of change
• Annual plans offer a discount compared to monthly billing

AI Credits

AI-powered features (menu generation, compliance analysis, chat assistant, recipe analysis, and other AI tools) consume AI credits. Each subscription plan includes a monthly credit allotment that resets on your billing date. When credits are exhausted, AI-powered features may be limited or unavailable until credits reset or you upgrade your plan. Deterministic features (meal pattern validation, database lookups, product crediting searches) do not consume credits.

Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the Stripe Billing Portal
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to paid features until then
• After cancellation, your account reverts to the free tier. Your saved data (menus, recipes, documents) is preserved but subject to free tier limits

Refunds

• Refund requests made within 7 days of payment, or where no AI credits have been used during the billing period, are eligible for a full refund
• All other refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to process depending on your payment provider

Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry the charge and notify you via email. If payment is not resolved after multiple attempts, your account may be downgraded to the free tier. We make reasonable efforts to notify you before any downgrade occurs.

5 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the site in ways that:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Attempt to access areas of the site without permission
• Harm or disrupt site operations
• Upload malicious code or harmful files
• Collect information about others without consent
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the site
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, credit limits, or access controls
• Use the platform to generate content for competing services

We may block or remove any user who violates these rules.

6 AI-Generated Content

CrEATe Meals uses artificial intelligence (powered by OpenAI and Anthropic) to provide features such as menu generation, compliance checking, recipe analysis, and the "Ask CrEATe" chat assistant. By using these features, you acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content (menus, compliance suggestions, recommendations, recipes) may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before using it in your program
• AI output does not constitute professional, legal, or compliance advice
• Your queries, menu data, and related content are sent to third-party AI providers for processing (see our Privacy Policy for details)
• CrEATe Meals is not liable for decisions or outcomes based on AI-generated content

7 User Content and Data

You retain ownership of content you create or upload to CrEATe Meals, including menus, recipes, documents, and chat messages. By using the platform, you grant CrEATe Meals a limited license to store, process, and display your content as needed to provide our services.

We do not claim ownership of your content. We do not sell, share, or use your content for purposes unrelated to operating the platform. If you delete your account, your personal data and associated content will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8 Email Communications

If you choose to opt in, you may receive emails such as:

• Updates and news
• New resources and tools
• Member announcements
• Optional marketing messages

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us. Transactional emails (account verification, password resets, billing receipts, payment failure notices, subscription confirmations) are sent regardless of marketing preferences as they are necessary for account and billing operation.

9 Future Advertising or Sponsorships

CreateMeals.org may include advertising or sponsored content in the future. If this occurs, all advertising will be clearly identified. The presence of ads or sponsored content will not influence our commitment to providing helpful information.

10 Intellectual Property

All content on CreateMeals.org is owned by CrEATe Meals or used with permission. This includes text, graphics, designs, tools, and AI system prompts.

11 Third-Party Services and Links

CrEATe Meals integrates with third-party services to provide functionality. These currently include, but are not limited to: Stripe for payments, OpenAI and Anthropic for AI features, USDA and other food databases for nutrition data, Google Cloud Vision for document scanning, retail pricing APIs, email delivery services, push notification services, and analytics providers. A complete and current list is maintained in our Privacy Policy.

We may add, replace, or remove third-party service providers at any time to improve the platform. When changes materially affect how your data is processed, we will update our Privacy Policy accordingly.

The site may also link to external websites, including USDA resources, manufacturer websites, and state agency portals. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or actions of those sites. Accessing third-party websites is at your own risk.

CreateMeals.org is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content, including AI-generated content. To the fullest extent allowed by law, CrEATe Meals is not liable for:

• Errors or omissions in content, including AI-generated menus, compliance determinations, or recommendations
• Losses or damages resulting from use of the site or reliance on its content
• Unauthorized access to your account
• Program compliance decisions, audit findings, or disallowances
• Actions or policies of third-party service providers

Your use of the site is at your own risk.

15 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CrEATe Meals, its owners, and its service providers from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from your misuse of the site, violation of these terms, or reliance on content provided through the platform.

16 Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from your use of the site should first be raised through our contact form so we can attempt to resolve them informally.
